STiLUM: Wedding Couture- Sari Clad !

Hey All,

Continuing with the wedding spree. This one is a personal favorite. No embellished work, no elaborate detailing just the plain old Indian sari.

There are more than 80 known ways to drape a sari and the most famous sari draping style with pleats tucked in front and the pallu on one shoulder is known as nivi style sari. The origin of sari goes way back to the first civilization-The Indus Valley Civilization.

Chantilly lace material is one of the greatest givings to fashion. Dresses, gowns, suits, sari’s….think it and have it. Lace is the most elegant, sensual, fuss free clothing! And if you don’t own a sari in lace your wardrobe is downright incomplete.

Talking of leading trends, lately print on print, denim on denim, stripes on stripes aka monotones are quite in. So deriving my inspiration from this trend I thought why not lace on lace for a sari look!

You guys loved the quirky sari version today its the classic sari version with Chantilly lace.
Messy side bun, gold danglers, some more jewellery, my knot clutch and am good to go.
