Hello My Lovelies!!
Its so good to be back with a STiLUM look book post today! Producing videos for Lakme School of Style and exploring different genres like tech was keeping me busy but I am back and hopefully by the end of the post you will say ‘back with a bang’!
Today’s post is rather special as it showcases two brands I truly adore and believe in! Well those who follow my blog have known-heard-shopped from www.loveforprettythings.com, for those who haven’t, can thank me later
LFPT came about because of Madhuri’s love for pretty things and Rohan’s out of the box thinking. A beautifully curated website for jewellery, bags and all other accessories, their ethnic jewellery collection is certainly my favourite. Whenever I surf the LFPT site there is something new, something more exquisite available. They always ‘smitten’ surprise me!
Just turned one this month, LFPT has 31 designers under their umbrella. Be it western wear or Indian wear their curation has something for every occasion and pocket. That is why they also make a great store for gifting something special to someone special. {This one was especially for all husbands, boyfriends, fiances and brothers}
So when Madhuri, said she wants to recreate the magic {See Older Post Here} I knew that minute which apparel designer will completely do justice. The gorgeous lehenga that I am wearing is by a designer who effortlessly swept the All India Rank One at the NIFT entrance exams, Priyal Prakash.
Clean lines,ingenuous embroidery placements, and metallic accents come together to give a unique look synonym with the brand Priyal Prakash. And like she says I design for the woman who is chic but snug, ambitious but warm, funny but poised, avant-garde but graceful well I would say she designs for herself, in a way
I have put together two versions of this look with LFPT jewellery pieces. The jewellery is so stunning that I couldn”t choose one hence you are treated with two! One with a maang tikaa and another with a passa. For me the maang tikaa look is more for a wedding day and the passa look is more for sangeet/mehendi. But no hard rules if it looks pretty, will fit any wedding occasion!

8 years agoLoved the outfit MsCocoQueen, as always! What i liked more is the way you gave two different outlooks and interpretations of the same outfit just with those little twists the way you accessorized and the way its shot! While she is contemporary yet bit shy in look1, she is traditional yet a free bird in look2! :)
