And The Winner Is!? #MaxEliteModelLook2016

Hey guys!

Its been a super hectic week. Back to back fashion week days, on going assignments and 24 hours in Mumbai. In all the craziness, being in Mumbai was the most exciting! After the regional casting in Delhi and other cities, the Max Fashion Elite Model Look 2016 star-y, grand finale was held in Mumbai last week.

Early flight from Delhi followed by a smooth check in at the Sofitel Hotel, BKC, where the event was also taking place. Some fun conversations with fellow blogger friends over lunch and soon it was time for a exclusive one on one interaction with President Elite Management Worldwide, Mr. Vick Mihachi who came in from Paris, Max Fashion’s Executive Director Mr. Vasanth Kumar & Alexandra Parolini, General Manager Elite Model Look.
It was so nice to know how Elite nurtures talent and carves path for aspiring models to realise their dreams.

The grand finale night kick started with the arrival of the judges on the red carpet. Actress Neha Dhupia looked stunning in flamboyant dress along the host for the evening Sunpreet Bedi.

Of all the 2700 entries received this year, only 18 made it to the finale. These aspiring models were mentored by industries who’s who like Marc Robinson – Elite Model Look India 2016 Licensee and Fashion Director, Deepti Gujral – Supermodel, Dr. Sunil Bhoolabhai – Cosmetic Dental Expert, Dr. Mickey Mehta – Global Leading Holistic Health Guru, Kapil Bhalla – Hair and Make Up Expert. I was really excited for Mansi, the female model I shot with, who made it to the final round and trust me the grooming was evident on the ramp.

There were a total of three rounds; the first one had models walk in black & white outfits. The models looked confident and fierce.

The second round showcased models in Max Winter Collection, I simply loved the styling.

The third and final round had models adorned in the breath-taking evening wear collection by Narendra Kumar and Gavin Miguel. The finale was attended by Mumbai’s social personalities, fashion designers, stylists, bloggers and the likes. The venue was jam packed and buzzing with energy & excitement.

Manasi Scott kept the audience captivated with her spectacular performance while the judges deliberated their decision.

I had my favourites too but the MAX Elite Model Look India 2016 winners were- Mr. Vijay Singh from Bariely & Ms. Priyanka B.V who will represent India at the World Finale to be held in Portugal later this year. Wow, they looked ecstatic!!
