In our daily busy lives we keep running after the bigger goals and miss onto the little things that give us immense happiness. Like going on a walk with our dog, may be bake a cake or pencil down a sketch? Things that may not speak as loud when we achieve a business target but speak a lot about who we are.
Metaphorically, amidst all the bling of chunky and statement jewellery we have forgotten the charm of all things small and wonderful. Today is all about a trend that is coming back with a bang! Trend that will speak about who we actually are or an expression of how we feel!
Layering accessories like statement neckpieces, bracelets or even knuckle rings has kept the fashion scene buzzing for a while now. Today too is all about layering BUT layering dainty jewellery!
Delicate layered jewellery is a rage this season and I cant get enough of it! I am awestruck of this jewellery trend as it works best in summers. In this heat where every extra inch of cloth seems unbearable, flaunting a piece of chunky- statement jewellery is implausible! Thats where little dainty jewels do the trick. They are sleek, light weight yet superbly fashion forward, easy and sooo chic.
Like layering clothes can be tricky layering dainty trinkets, bracelets or rings can be tricky too. A look that not only works for a day out with the girl friends but even on a date with the loved one. And the best part they all are so pocket friendly!!
Be it neckpieces, rings or bracelets!! Yes to my utter surprise when I walked up and down the Swarovski store in Select Citywalk Mall in search of my fav pieces I realised so many of these beauties are available for less than Rs. 5000.

I personally love this look! Its quite laid back, welcoming and very stylish. Ikat print-pastel shade shift dress with gladiator sandals and a popping blue tote. Gold colour jewellery is always one’s preference but I think silver feels more unique. Hence I chose these rhodium plated jewels from Swarovski.
Like I said, this trend can speak a lot about who we are or how we feel. Mix plain chains with pendants that say something about you. You can tell a little story with your choices. My choices tell my tale. I feel loved, yet looking for that door of this key which will take me higher above to the stars! Shinning bright

It’s interesting how many of this year’s jewelry trends are also timeless! These classic styles are great for all ages, too. The important thing is to only implement the trends that you really love.
