We all have beautiful dreams. Dream wedding, dream car, dream career. But sometimes things happen which we never dream off, things that are beyond our imagination. So when it happens even a hundred pinches aint enough. From participating to winning it and to actually being in Paris to witness Paris Fashion Week, my Swarovski #StyleYourWayToParis has been a dream beyond my imagination.
The entire team of Swarovski India and Paris made me feel like a Queen! From an assigned personnel to escort me through the airport, arriving to lovely gifts and welcome notes at the hotel to fancy dinner in Hotel Plaza Athenee (One of Paris finest restaurant) with the Swarovski Team and India”s leading Fashion Magazine editors. Every little detail made me feel so loved and WOW’ed! Hence my DAY 1 in Paris was all about clinking champagne glasses by the twinkling Eiffel Tower and feeling like a celebrity 😛
DAY 2: Waking up in snugly white linens and breathing in the chilly Paris winds. It was time to see the Swarovski Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015 collection. Arriving at the Swarovski Office in Paris was like another celeb moment. You may not know anyone but everyone knows you 😛
Beautiful-swanky-huge office in the heart of the city, bustling with media all over the world for Swarovski Spring Summer 2015 collection preview. The collection at Swarovski Atelier was from a world of Swarovski Jewels unknown to me. A stunner collection varying from elaborate to signature Swarovski pieces. This particular collection is called  the ‘Crystal Gradens’. Even the office was painted in accordance to the theme of the collection. Bold, colourful and inspiring, I really wish that these pieces see the light in India too!

DAY 3.ÂAfter the collection preview it was time for a cosy tete-a-tete with Swarovski’s Creative Director, Nathalie Colin. Yamila, Artistic Consultant- Swarovski., Ruchita Sharma, Head Marketing Operations- Swarovski India & Priyanka Arora, Sr. Marketing- Swarovski India were also present to celebrate the moment.
A toast on my welcome, followed by my photo shoot (LIVE on Swarovski Blog) and many mandatory selfies :p Nathalie was excited to know my thoughts on the new collection, my ‘journey’ so far and market for Swarovski back in India. We actually got into lot of talking and exchange of views. I am still not over her warm welcome and kind words about me and my work in her charming french accent

The ever smiling & beautiful lady behind Swarovski, Nathalie Colin, is an extremely warm and quirky person. Her personal style is just fabulous. I am glued to her blog. Her blog WINKÂ is a real style inspiration with numerous styling tips. I too took the opportunity to take a little interview. Here’s what she had to say:
Me: How did Swarovski #StyleYourWayToParis happen? And that too in India to begin with.
Nathalie: Ruchita is the mastermind behind all this. We wanted to get away from the culture of sending freebies to bloggers and then bloggers putting up pictures of the product. We wanted build a substantial association with the Indian blogging community.
Me: What inspires you?
Nathalie: Travel! Travelling exposes you to different cultures. A collection is a contribution of many people, Yamila and I have been working together for 25 years now. We are totally different yet highly complimentary!
Me: Strong jewellery trend this season?
Nathalie:Â Stacking Up! Rings, bracelets or necklaces.
Me: Dainty Or statement jewellery?
Nathalie: Statement jewellery for sure.
Me: Gold or silver?
Nathalie: Gold
Me: One jewellery piece you can’t step out without?
Nathalie: Cuff
Me: Your favourite trend?
Nathalie: Personalisation and colour.
My 3 days of Parisian dream came to an overwhelming end. Every moment spent in these 3 days were so special and unique that I wanted to rewind and relive this experience in slo-mo and make a mental note so that I can share it with you all. Swarovski India plans to do this contest again next year and when that will happen it will be like giving away my imaginary glory crown ( I don’t think i’ll be too happy about it :p).
A heartfelt gratitude to the entire team of Swarovski for making it so so special.
Until next time,
Love,
