Being ‘Timeless’ With Vogue Eyewear Spring Summer’15

Few might just go deranged to be part of such a unique initiative or just kill to be a muse for this dream team.

The Vogue Eyewear spring-summer 2015 blogger engagement shoot with Atul Kasbekar, Allia Al Rufai, Elton Fernandez and five fashionistas!

All of you know Vogue Eyewear. Yes the eyewear brand with an Indian brand testimonial, bollywood diva, Deepika Padukone. For those who don’t, Vogue is an international eyewear brand under the house of Luxottica. Designed & made in Italy, Vogue eyewear is all about trendy and chic styles at pocket loving prices.

5th December ’14- Vogue eyewear got together 6 fabulous bloggers from India to be their official muse for a super exciting activity. Going the unconventional way, Vogue eyewear team got real fashion influencers aka bloggers to be part of the shoot instead of models.

Shot in the vibrant city of Mumbai, industry’s A listed names were put behind the task. Photographer Atul Kasbekar, stylist by Allia Al Rufai and hair & MUA Elton Fernandez, we all couldn’t have asked for a better team.

Ruhi Sheikh from republicofchic.com, Akanksha Redhu from akanksharedhu.com, Rhea Gupte from thegirlfromfuss.com, Anushka Hajela from bombaybubble.com and Masoom Minawala from stylefiesta.com were the other five bloggers along with me for this exciting project.

Each blogger portrayed a different look with a beautiful pair of Vogue SS15 eyewear. Three looks were created- Timeless, Casual Chic & In Vogue. Timeless was the classic take on Vogue Eyewear. Casual Chic was all about a confident woman and In Vogue was about a woman who loves to experiment with her looks and eyewear choices.

I sported a pair of classic red glasses {VO 2910B} from Vogue Eyewear’s latest SS’15 Timeless collection. Sculpted in Vogue’s Timeless motif and enhanced by the application of Swarovski Elements the detailing highlights the class and charm of the segment.

Celebrity make-up and hair stylist to Lisa Haydon, Aalia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, Elton is a true magician! His wands made me look sooo different! A brow makeover and a no eyeliner look, things I never imagined in my life to do or sport! But I loved it and like everyone tells me it looked great.

Celebrity stylist to Nargis Fakhri, Anushka Sharma, Allia is a fashionista herself! Her personal style is so chic and effortless that I am glued to her Instagram! She gave me a whimsical red dress with nude heels to create the quintessential classic to complement ‘timelessness’ of the glasses.

And ATUL KASBEKAR! Being part of his frame was a dream I honestly didn’t even imagine. Do I need to say anything about his work? Let the images talk themselves!
