#BeautyBeats: Spawake Moisture Fresh BB Cream {Review}

Gone are the days when cold cream was a one stop skin solution! When foundation was the only cosmetic to even out skin tone and poor acne was left to grandma’s home remedy. Thanks to innovative products available in the market taking care of your skin is now as easy as taking a selfie. 😛

One such innovative, all in one product is BB cream!

BB creams are all in rage, but if its still a mystery to you,  Beauty Balm “BB” is your skincare regimen in one tube. It has makeup, sunscreen and skin-care functions.

So recently when I got my hands on the newest BB cream in town by Spawake, I was excited to try it out!!

Spawake is a Japanese skincare brand that believes in the goodness of sea-sourced active ingredients topped with elite Japanese technology. {We all know Japanese obsession with rich tech :)}  Voila, they also has seaweed & sea salt that helps to revitalise and moisturise the skin.

The BB cream claims to moisturise, protect and correct. Where a foundation covers the skin with a layer of color to give a flawless finish.  Spawake Moisture Fresh BB cream on the other hand goes above and beyond that, it moisturise, protect and corrects flaws.
What more can one ask for! One is better than many when you are dealing with skin care! Moreover, if you have erratic schedules and always running in and out of meetings, this BB creams can be super handy.

Spawake Moisture Fresh BB cream is available in two shades, Perfect Glow & Natural Glow. I used shade Natural Glow. I took a considerable amount {4 drops} of the product because its a BB ‘cream’ and needs to be applied like a ‘cream’. The Perfect Glow shade offers one tone lighter skin & covers blemishes. It provides better coverage. However, Natural Glow shade gives healthy glow & imparts naturally bright, even skin tone & is perfect for daily use.

What I liked the most about this BB cream was how easily and evenly it spreads over the skin. Whenever I have used a BB cream from another brand before, I tend to feel that the product settles down on my skin without proper application and blending. This was certainly not the case with Swapake BB cream. It almost felt like applying a hydrating moisturiser.

So once I was done applying/blending, the cream visibly evened out my skin and also improved the skin texture. If you have stubborn under eyes then I would advice added pea size application. I felt a visible radiance on my face which lasted for almost 2 hours but the product stayed on much longer giving me long wear effect. Another thing that I liked was the mattifying look. I felt no need to top it up with a layer of compact powder to reduce shine. But one can always opt for a compact for greater coverage.

This BB creams offer hydration and protects the skin from UV sunlight and pollutions in the air as it has SPF 25/PA++. To top it off, you get the benefit of  heavy-duty products packed into lightweight formula giving you a dew, fresh look.

~ Very well priced
~ Detailed description of product ingredients.
~ Presence of Mineral oils makes it great for people with dry skin.

~ Prominent Floral fragrance
~ Smooth texture

~ Spreads easily and evenly
~ Blends in well
~ Makes skin feel smooth

Thoughts after application:

~ My skin felt more radiant
~ It took good care of little bumps on my forehead
~ Skin feels subtle
