#BeautyBeats: My Favourites from KAMA Ayurveda.

Heyloo lovelies,

They say seeing is believing but reality is always quite different from the real, be it reality tv or your boyfriend’s truth :p But thank god for a brand that’s real for sure. For fashionista its easy to change clothes according to trends but skincare-a big O-No. We are always picky and selective about what we apply on our face or body. Today I will tell you all about a brand that I totally believe in and don”t even mind trying out new products from-Its about my favourites and new tries from-KAMA Ayurveda.

Those who know the goodness of this brand would be smirking at the moment and those who don’t will thank me later once they make their first purchase.

KAMA Ayurveda explains itself as Pure, True, Kind & REAL as their treatments are 100% natural, prepared from organically-grown plants and herbs. This means “ No artificial colours. No artificial fragrance. No animal ingredients. No petrochemicals, parabens, urea. The products are made according to international-standard and are not tested on animals

I adore the packaging too. I usually don’t like my things placed out on my vanity shelves (more of a drawer person) but Kama products have a special place-‘out’ & ‘up’ on vanity, where they lay pretty. The packaging is not popping colors or shape but plain simplicity. Somebody wise told me simplicity that speaks like million bucks is the hardest to achieve and Kama packaging knows what it takes.

So first up, my all time favourite KAMA products.

~KUMKUMADI BRIGHTENING AYURVEDIC FACE SCRUB:

Winner of the ‘best scrub’ award by Vogue Beauty Awards 2014. This is not the only reason why I love this product but also because its creamy texture is so kind on my sensitive skin that it multitasks as a great scrub for dead skin and white heads and also leaves it all nourished. It smells strong and all Ayurvedic because of the Kumkumadi. The little wooden spatula that comes along with this wonder pot makes the scrub easy to use and mess free.

Kama Ayurveda’s Kumkumadi face scrub is specially formulated with 12 precious and rare ingredients to help smooth fine lines, illuminate skin color and promote new cell growth. It brightens your skin, reduce dark circles and pigmentation. Finely ground Sweet Almond rich in Vitamin E & D nourishes and nurtures while exfoliating pollutants and impurities for a glowing complexion.

~ORGANIC SESAME OIL

100% Organic and Cold Pressed, you have no idea how happy I am with Kama Ayurveda’s cold pressed sweet almond or sesame oil. I completely recommend this. Its like I don’t need to apply anything on my face after this, it just lights up your face unlike other oils that make your skin greasy and sticky. Few drops on your palm-massage on your face-some dabs of your compact powder and voila your day make up is sorted (trust me, no kidding!). When am back home from work, I wash my face, reapply the oil minus the compact and my skin remains so supple, how I need and like :) (wish they created some travel pack for me to carry it, everywhere-everyday !)

If you wondering oil in summers? Well, this one penetrates into the skin instantly and its ingredients help prevent tanning and other damages caused by the harmful UV radiations. Do I need to say more?

~ROSE JASMINE BATH AND BODY OIL.

Are you as lazy as me when its about applying lotion on your body post shower? Kama’s luxurious floral blend of pure rose and jasmine oil is your answer to freedom. I have very dry skin hence while showering I apply soap on alternate days only. For rest of the days its nice application and massage of this oil followed by only water shower. It leaves my skin smelling so nice and supple! The oil is light & highly absorbent.

~PURE MOGRA WATER Face & Body Mist.

Sometimes even after removing my make up and washing my face with a face wash my skin still feels unfree from the foundation/makeup/dirt. A good spray of this mogra water does the perfect trick by gently removing slightest of the make up, leaving my skin all clean and fresh. People prefer rose water I prefer the Mogra water. My sensitive skin is errant to rose water due to its astringent quality. I also use it before applying moisturiser also.

Steam Distilled pure mogra {Jasmine} water is an ancient recipe for skin hydration, which balances dry and sensitive skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties relieve stressed skin while it calms the nerves and alleviates tension to uplift the mood {keep it in your refrigerator for a good old cold splash}. Mogra’s sweet fragrance is clarifying and refreshing to start or finish, a long day.

~BRINGADI Intensive Hair Treatment.

I wont say that using one bottle of this oil on your head will help you achieve your desired result but persistence is key to success! This product is meant to prevent hair loss, dandruff and premature greying. It is also a natural conditioner for lush hair growth. Though it smells really strong and not pleasant like their other products but it”s totally worth it. If you don’t have super dry hair then shampoo post Bringadi application doesn”t need conditioning.

Now a review of my new tries from KAMA:

~KOKUM AND ALMOND BODY BUTTER with Organic cold pressed sweet almond & coconut oils.

Oh So Good! Wish this jar of body butter was edible as it smells so damn divine and scrumptious! An enriching Body Butter made with 100% Organic Cold Pressed Sweet Almond Oil & Coconut Oil, relieve dryness, removes dead skin cells and has natural antioxidants to increase elasticity of the skin which delays ageing. Well, I really cant be lazy all the time so now when I dont apply the bath oil this what follows the shower.

~ELADI HYDRATING AYURVEDIC FACE CREAM With Pure Essential Oils of Rose & Jasmine.

This nourishing Ayurvedic face cream is made with a blend of pure ingredients. What I love about this product is its thick texture which blends in so seamlessly that even a dime sized quantity is just enough for one application. Though I am still contemplating its work on my dry skin. It has the ability to enhance skin texture. Antiseptic properties prevents acne, blemishes, fine lines and acts as a protection against the sun. A 100% natural emulsifier derived from Olive Oil enables high skin absorption and is moisturising. The essential oils of rose and jasmine purify and nurture the skin. To be used daily.

~REJUVENATING & BRIGHTENING AYURVEDIC NIGHT CREAM.

Blended with the finest of Saffron from Kashmir which brightens the skin, reduce dark circles and pigmentation. I have no complaints with this product. A perfect leave in night treatment for youthful naturally radiant skin.

Together I think Kumkumadi Scrub the Eladi day and rejuvenating night cream make a soulful beauty regime.

~VANILLA LIP BALM With Organic Bees Wax.

Spring-summer-autumn-winter be any weather I cannot survive without a lip balm. There is one for very bag in my closet. A rich, natural moisturising lip balm made with Organic Almond and Castor oil. Blended with Organic Bees wax and Cocoa butter for intense nourishment. Leaves the lips replenished, soft and hydrated. I am anyway a vanilla fan hence the fragrance is totally dreamy for me.

Beauty issues? Kama will have a solution. They even have cinnamon soap (I <3 cinnamon)!! Hope you guys try their wonderful products. Do lemme know your favourites or if there is any other product you tried and liked.

Until then,
LoVe,

Thanks a lot Anusha, glad you like it. I was told by the Kama expert that the kumkumadi night cream and the fluid work in the same manner. And am a little lazy when it comes to making a mixture so haven't tried it yet.
      Have you tried it?

The Kama Vanilla Lip Balm is really good. My mom purchases it, usually i go for the normal drugstore lip balms, but this lip balm is really nice and glossy.. it leaves your lips moisturized for 3 hours tops. The taste and smell is just too good.. Avoid exposure to sunlight... Once you start using it, you'll keep buying it
