The K Beauty mania has hit AMAZON INDIA!
Since HD TV’s & selfie culture came into existence, we are always at a look out for products that can make our skin look flawless! The world found that goodness in Korean beauty products famously know as K Beauty. The first Korean products to fit the U.S. beauty market were BB creams, way back in 2011. Since then the demand for Korean products have trickled across the world, not leaving India far behind. But with no proper knowledge and distribution channel, availability and authenticity soon became a major fall back for the K beauty market in India.
But no fear when Amazon is here!
Responding to the growing demand for authentic Korean beauty products, Amazon.in has partnered with KOTRA (Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency) Bengaluru to offer customers access to leading Korean beauty brands.
Facial masks, cleansing creams, skin care and lip care range, and makeup items from popular Korean brands such as, FaceShop, Dermal, The Beauty Co Seoul, It’S SKIN, Coony, Mirabelle and Swanicoco, targeted at the 16-35 age group, are exclusively available at an average price of ₹400-700

So what makes these Korean Products so special?
Since our teenage years we’re taught to buy skincare products according to how old (or how “mature”) our skin is, but that’s sadly an oversimplification. Instead of just looking at your age, the Korean approach to skin care and beauty is all about analysing the skin and determining what conditions need to be treated. Koreans tend to focus on skincare products that get at the root of conditions and treat problems before they start. Relying wholly on makeup not only looks unnatural, but it’s also a temporary fix to a long-lasting issue.
Secondly, there is a huge cultural gap when it comes to beauty regime and care. Korean’s follow a labor-intensive beauty routine. While most people will put on a moisturiser and call it a day, Korean women and men use anywhere from six to ten products in their daily skin care routine (GOSH!)
It was interesting to know that as users, Koreans ain’t loyal to a single product. Hence brands are always investing huge bucks into research & development to create new & fun products that will attract users. Due to this K products have ingredients not commonly found in Western skin care products, like pearl essence, snail secretions or camel milk, to name a few.
I am laying my hands onto more of these glorious products soon! Will you?
